Nothing here is manufactured. Each batch is macerated slowly, decanted into amber glass to guard it from light, sealed, and inspected by hand before it is allowed to carry the Linnelia seal.
No silicones. No synthetic fragrance. No mineral filler. Only phyto actives whose provenance we can name — and a formula that has been left deliberately concentrated, because dilution is a cost saving, not a virtue.

Silkené began at my grandmother’s table, where oils were warmed and decanted by hand, and where hair was never rushed. The rituals she kept were not trends — they were inheritances, measured in patience and in scent.
When I founded Linnelia, I wanted only to return that inheritance to a bottle: the same cold-pressed oils, the same slow infusion, the same insistence that nothing be added that did not belong. Each decanter is blended in the small quantities we can watch over, because care cannot be scaled — only repeated.

Cold-pressing keeps the actives that heat would silence; slow infusion over weeks lets the botanicals meet one another in their own time. We macerate, not manufacture.
We make in small quantities because care, once diluted, is simply less of itself. A decanter is not finished until it has been watched over — and until it has been left, unhurried, to settle. Only then is it sealed and allowed to carry the Linnelia mark.

Decant four to six drops into the palm. Close the hands and let the oil come to the temperature of the skin until the phyto notes rise.

Work into the scalp in unhurried circles, then draw the remainder through the lengths and press it into the ends.

Rest
Leave overnight, or thirty minutes before cleansing. Wash as usual. Repeat once or twice weekly, or as often as pleasure dictates.

How often should the elixir be used?+
Once or twice weekly as a pre-wash treatment. Those with very dry or coarse hair may use it more often; a small amount on the ends may be worn daily.
Will it leave hair greasy?+
No, when cleansed properly. Silkené is a pre-wash and overnight treatment, formulated to be washed out. Left on the ends, a few drops absorb without residue.
Is it suitable for colour-treated hair?+
Yes. The formula contains no silicones, sulphates or synthetic fragrance, and is safe alongside colour and chemical services.
How long does one bottle last?+
Roughly two to three months of weekly use, depending on hair length and density.
